Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese Ensure it's softened to room temperature for a smooth mixture.
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter Softened butter will cream easily with the cream cheese.
  • 2 cup powdered sugar Also known as confectioners' sugar; sift if lumpy.
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix Use instant mix, not cook-and-serve, for proper setting.
  • 3 cup cold milk Cold milk helps the pudding set quickly.
  • 16 oz frozen whipped topping Thaw in the refrigerator before gently folding in.
  • 30 cookies Oreo cookies Crush finely for the base and a bit coarser for layers.
  • 1 cup mini peanut butter cups Chopping them helps distribute the flavor and texture evenly throughout the layers. Optional, but highly recommended for an extra treat!
