Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter For best results, use a smooth, creamy variety.
  • 0.25 cup butter Unsalted butter is recommended, but salted is fine too.
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips You can substitute with semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips if preferred.
  • 1 tsp vanilla Pure vanilla extract adds the best flavor to this treat.
  • 9 cups Chex cereal Any variety of Chex cereal works well, such as Rice, Corn, or Wheat Chex.
  • 2 cups powdered sugar Also known as confectioners' sugar, essential for coating the cereal.
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms Use Easter-themed M&Ms for a festive touch, or any colorful candy-coated chocolate.
  • optional g spring/Easter sprinkles Add as much or as little as you like for extra color and fun.

Method
 

  1. Combine peanut butter, butter, and chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl.
  2. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir until melted and creamy.
  3. Add vanilla and stir until well combined.
  4. In a large bowl with a cover, pour the warm chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal. Cover the bowl tightly and shake until the cereal is evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the chocolate-coated cereal. Cover the bowl again and shake until the cereal is evenly coated with the sugar.
  6. Finally, add the Easter M&Ms and sprinkles of your choice to the mixture. Gently stir or shake to combine.

Notes

This no-bake treat is perfect for making with kids and can be easily customized with different M&M colors or sprinkle themes for any holiday or occasion. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
