- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Slice apples into 1/4-inch thick sticks and toss immediately with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Drizzle melted coconut oil or butter over the lemon-coated apples and toss gently to coat.
- Add the sugar-cinnamon mixture and toss again until evenly coated.
- Arrange apple fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through at 5 minutes.
- Check for doneness; add 2-3 more minutes if needed, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Remove and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of sugar and cinnamon to your taste. These apple fries are best served warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel.
