Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese full-fat recommended
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped onions spinach, or red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Pat dry the chicken breasts and heat some oil in a skillet.
  2. Sear the chicken on both sides until browned.
  3. Lower the heat and add cream cheese, stirring until melted.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and mix until smooth.
  5. Add garlic and Italian seasoning; return chicken to the sauce.
  6. Cover and let simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the pan for best results. Cutting cream cheese into small chunks helps it melt faster.
