Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine cranberries and granulated sugar. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cut in the cold cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the cranberry mixture evenly over the crust layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the cranberries.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
