Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until it’s light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Divide the dough and add pink and blue flavoring and food coloring to each part.
  7. Gently fold in the cotton candy pieces.
  8. Create marbled dough balls with both colors and place them on your baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden.
  10. Cool the cookies on a wire rack.
