Ingredients
  

  • 10 slices white sandwich bread
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 –3 tablespoons butter for frying

Method
 

  1. Remove crusts from bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a spreadable paste.
  3. Spread filling evenly over each slice, then roll tightly and seal edges.
  4. Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla in a shallow dish.
  5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Dip each roll-up briefly in the egg mixture to coat.
  7. Place seam-side down in skillet and cook until golden on all sides.
  8. Rotate and cook evenly for 2–3 minutes per side.
  9. Transfer to paper towel to drain excess butter.
  10. Serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar, or fruit.

Notes

Flatten bread well and avoid overfilling to prevent leaks. Cook on medium heat for best texture.
