- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch bread pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon).
- In a large bowl, combine wet ingredients (milk and lemon juice) and let sit for 5 minutes before adding oil, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix gently.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
- For the swirl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
- Pour half the batter into the pan; drizzle with swirl mixture and use a toothpick to create swirls. Add remaining batter and top with more swirl mixture.
- Bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Great for breakfast or as a snack! You can add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
