  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder Choose your favorite brand and flavor for optimal taste and protein boost.
  • 1 cup milk Use dairy milk or a plant-based alternative like almond, soy, or oat milk.
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup Adjust the quantity to suit your preferred level of sweetness.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Enhances the overall aroma and flavor of the pudding.
  • 1 pinch salt A tiny pinch helps to balance the sweetness and intensify the chocolate notes.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Serving Cups

Method

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, thoroughly whisk together the unsweetened cocoa powder and chocolate protein powder until there are no lumps and the powders are well combined.
  2. Gradually add the milk, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Continue stirring with the whisk until the mixture is completely smooth and free of any clumps.
  3. Taste the pudding mixture. If you prefer a sweeter pudding, add an additional teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and stir well to incorporate.
  4. Divide the pudding evenly into individual serving cups or pour into a single dessert dish. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of one hour, or until the pudding is firm and set.
  5. Serve the chilled chocolate protein pudding as is, or top with your favorite garnishes such as fresh berries, sliced bananas, chopped nuts, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

Notes

This recipe is incredibly versatile! Feel free to experiment with different protein powder flavors like vanilla or peanut butter. For an extra rich treat, you can add a tablespoon of almond butter to the mixture before chilling. It's a perfect make-ahead option for busy weeks.
