Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir gently to combine.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly firm; cool completely.
  7. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave; dip cookies or drizzle melted chocolate on top.
  8. Place sliced strawberries on top while the chocolate is still warm.

Notes

For best results, ensure your butter is truly softened to room temperature for creaming. You can experiment with different types of chocolate chips, like white chocolate, for a varied flavor profile. These cookies are a perfect treat for parties or an afternoon snack!
