Ingredients

  • 5 cakes Little Debbie chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 3 tbsp Festive sprinkles extra for topping
  • 200 g semi-sweet chocolate chips melted
  • 50 g white chocolate chips melted, for drizzling (optional)

Equipment

  • Handheld Mixer
  • Microwave-safe Bowl
  • Piping bag or ziplock bag
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Method

  1. Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Using a handheld mixer mix them until crumbly soft dough forms. Mix in the sprinkles.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll it in between the palm of your hand then place on the parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat the process until you are done with the dough.
  4. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments stirring in between each time.
  5. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate using a chocolate dipping fork or a regular fork then place back on the baking sheet.
  6. Melt the white chocolate chips in a piping bag or a ziplock bag in the microwave. After the first 30 seconds, massage the chocolate in that bag to ensure that it is all dissolved, if it isn't yet microwave for another 30 seconds.
  7. Snip the tip of that piping bag or ziplock bag with scissors then drizzle the white chocolate on top of the truffles. Top immediately with more sprinkles and chill in the fridge to set.

Notes

These truffles make a delightful holiday treat and can be customized with your favorite sprinkles or chocolate flavors.
