- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time to the mixture, mixing well after each addition, then blend in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the dough into two portions, roll into ½ inch thick strips, cut, and twist them together.
- Place on the baking sheets, leaving space between each piece, and bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
