Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe bananas about 2 cups mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×4-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a medium bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix gently.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into banana mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
