Ingredients
Method
- Make sure the apples are completely dry, then insert the wooden sticks firmly into the tops.
- Melt the white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl using 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each apple into the melted white chocolate, rotating to coat evenly, and allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Immediately place the coated apples on parchment paper.
- Mix the crushed Golden Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries in a shallow dish.
- While the chocolate is still warm, roll the bottom half of each apple in the strawberry shortcake crumb mixture.
- Let the apples set at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
- Melt the strawberry candy melts and drizzle over the apples using a piping bag or spoon.
- Add fresh strawberry slices if desired, then allow the apples to fully harden before serving.
Notes
Apply the crumb coating while the chocolate is still slightly warm so it sticks well. Avoid moisture on the apples to prevent the coating from slipping.
