Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9-inch square pan with foil, leaving overhang on the sides. Lightly grease the foil.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter, stirring until smooth.
- Whisk in sugar until glossy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in flour, green food coloring, baking powder, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 44–48 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely on a wire rack for about 2 hours.
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, then gradually mix in powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla.
- Lift brownies from pan, frost evenly, and cut into 16 squares.
Notes
Allow brownies to cool fully before frosting to prevent melting. For deeper color with less liquid, gel food coloring can be used instead of liquid.
