- Generously butter a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Tear croissants into bite-sized pieces and arrange evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the croissants.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants.
- Gently press down to help the croissants absorb the custard.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight if desired.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use day-old croissants and high-quality chocolate. Avoid overbaking to keep the center creamy.
