Method
- In a bowl, combine chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Mix gently until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Slice croissants in half and lightly toast if desired.
- Layer chopped romaine lettuce on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Spoon the chicken Caesar mixture evenly over the lettuce.
- Add cherry tomatoes if using.
- Top with the remaining croissant halves.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, toast croissants lightly and assemble sandwiches just before serving to prevent sogginess.
