Equipment

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle each fillet evenly with olive oil. Season generously with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. The exact time may vary based on the thickness of your fillets.
  4. While the salmon bakes, prepare the Bang Bang sauce. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and optionally, honey and rice vinegar, until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  5. Once the salmon is cooked, transfer it to serving plates. Drizzle a generous amount of the prepared Bang Bang sauce over each fillet. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of freshness.

Notes

This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of steamed rice or roasted vegetables. For a spicier kick, feel free to add more sriracha to the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
