Ingredients

  • 6 roasted jalapeños peeled and seeded
  • 16 oz 2 blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz white cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder or smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Chili flakes for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and roast jalapeños for 15–20 minutes until charred. Peel and seed once cooled.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add shredded cheddar and mix until creamy.
  3. Chop roasted jalapeños and stir into the cheese mixture. Add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes until bubbly, or chill for 30 minutes for a cold dip.
  5. Garnish with chili flakes before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Use gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation. For a milder dip, remove all seeds before mixing. Serve warm with tortilla chips or chilled with veggie sticks.
