Ingredients
  

  • 680 g Italian sausage links
  • 3 pieces bell peppers, sliced use a mix of colors for a vibrant dish
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 22.5 ml olive oil this helps to crisp the vegetables
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 4 pieces hoagie rolls optional, for serving
  • 15 g chopped parsley optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Toss sliced bell peppers and onion with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Place sausage links in the basket with vegetables around them.
  4. Cook for 8 minutes, then flip sausage and stir vegetables. Cook for an additional 6 to 8 minutes until sausage reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit internally.
  5. Rest sausage for 5 minutes, slice, and combine with peppers and onions.
  6. Serve in hoagie rolls or bowls and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize the types of peppers or add your favorite spices for extra flavor.
