Ingredients
  

  • 450 g okra washed, dried, and cut in half lengthwise
  • 30 ml avocado oil
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 35 g arrowroot powder

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the halved okra with avocado oil, ensuring each piece is lightly coated.
  2. Season the okra with kosher salt, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder, then sprinkle with arrowroot powder to coat evenly.
  3. Arrange the okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlapping pieces for even cooking.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Once the okra is golden brown, remove it from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately to maintain crispness; avoid letting it sit on a plate to prevent sogginess.
