- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the egg, then mix in milk and vanilla.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry and stir until just combined. Batter should be thick and scoopable.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes. Line the basket with parchment or silicone liners.
- Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of batter into the air fryer basket. Leave space between each scoop.
- Air fry for 5–7 minutes until golden and puffed. Flip halfway through if needed.
- Let cool slightly, then dust generously with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
