Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and halved
  • 1 cup blueberries choose firm, plump berries
  • 1 cup raspberries select bright red, intact berries
  • 1 cup blackberries ensure they are ripe and juicy
  • 2 tablespoons honey use your favorite type, adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice freshly squeezed for best flavor and zest
  • 1 pinch salt a small amount balances the sweetness

Method
 

  1. Rinse all the berries under cold water. Hull and halve the strawberries.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, gently toss the mixed berries together. Drizzle the honey-lime dressing over the top and gently mix to coat the berries evenly.
  4. Transfer the salad to a serving bowl or individual plates. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and enjoy immediately.

This salad is best enjoyed fresh. You can prepare the dressing ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
