- Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked elbow macaroni to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Serve this delicious taco pasta with a side salad or some crusty bread. For a bit of extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the taco seasoning. Top with sour cream, salsa, or fresh cilantro if desired.
