3-Ingredient Nutella Brownies Recipe (dairy-free option)

These easy-to-make Nutella brownies require just three main ingredients and result in a wonderfully gooey, chocolatey dessert. A dairy-free option is also available.

Ingredients
  

  • 450 g Nutella or dairy free alternative, ensure it's nice and smooth before mixing
  • 3 each eggs ensure they are at room temperature for better mixing
  • 120 g gluten free plain flour fold in gently to avoid overmixing
  • 70 g chocolate chips optional, add for extra chocolatey goodness
  • 2 tbsp Nutella for swirling on top of the batter before baking

Equipment

  • 8x8 inch square baking tin
  • non-stick baking paper
  • Large Bowl
  • skewer

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 160C Fan / 180C and prepare an 8x8 inch square baking tin with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Add your Nutella to a large bowl and mix so its nice and smooth.
  3. Add in your eggs and mix together until combined.
  4. Add in your flour and fold in until completely combined. Then, if you are adding chocolate chips, fold them in afterwards too.
  5. Spoon / pour your brownie batter into your tin.
  6. Dollop some extra Nutella on top and use a skewer to swirl it around.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. The edges will be more cooked and the middle still somewhat gooey - this is definitely a gooey dessert brownie. If you want them more cakey, leave them in longer.
  8. Once cooked, allow to cool in the tin before slicing into portions.
  9. Enjoy on their own or with ice cream :)

Notes

Feel free to adjust baking time for a gooier or more cake-like brownie. These are delicious on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
