Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Choose fresh, high-quality fillets for best results.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Use a good quality extra virgin olive oil for drizzling.
  • 0.5 tsp salt Kosher salt or sea salt is recommended; adjust to taste.
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper Freshly ground black pepper adds more flavor.
  • 0.5 cup sour cream Full-fat sour cream will yield a richer sauce.
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill Finely chop the dill for an even distribution of flavor.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Freshly squeezed lemon juice brightens the sauce.
  • 1 clove small garlic clove Minced very fine so it blends smoothly into the sauce.

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sour cream, dill, lemon juice, and garlic.
  5. Serve salmon warm with dill sauce on top.
