- 480 ml vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- Slice fresh pineapple into 1/2-inch rings and remove the core if desired.
- Pat pineapple rings dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add egg and milk, whisk until smooth batter forms.
- Heat oil in a deep pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Dip each pineapple ring into the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Carefully place rings into hot oil in small batches.
- Fry for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
