Description

Ultra addictive classic strawberry pretzel salad with a buttery salty-sweet pretzel crust, fluffy cream cheese layer, and fresh strawberry Jell-O topping — the ultimate viral 3-layer dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2½ cups crushed salted pretzels
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 box (6 oz) strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 23 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a 9×13 pan.
  2. Bake crust for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then fold in Cool Whip.
  4. Spread cream mixture over cooled crust, sealing to edges.
  5. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and let cool to room temperature.
  6. Stir in sliced strawberries.
  7. Pour strawberry mixture over cream layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  9. Slice and serve chilled.
