- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp water
- 8 oz spaghetti
- Salt for boiling water
- 2 tbsp butter
- Sesame seeds, toasted

- Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce; add cornstarch if desired.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat and sear steak 2–3 minutes per side; remove and set aside.

- Simmer sauce 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss pasta in the sauce, adding pasta water as needed; return steak to pan and combine.

Notes
Keep steak dry for maximum sear, avoid burning garlic, add pasta water gradually for ideal sauce consistency, and undercook pasta slightly if planning leftovers.
