A 5-minute homemade balsamic vinaigrette that’s bursting with flavor—perfect for salads, marinades, and so much more.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup/agave nectar)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to create an emulsion.
- Whisk vigorously for 2-3 minutes until the dressing is glossy and fully combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed with more salt, pepper, or honey.
Notes
For a vegan version, use maple syrup or agave instead of honey. Store refrigerated in a glass jar for up to 2 weeks. Shake before each use.
