- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Instructions
- Bring chicken broth to a boil in a saucepan. Slowly whisk in grits.
- Reduce heat and simmer grits for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in butter, cream, and cheese (if using). Season with salt and white pepper.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook briefly.
- Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Cook 3–5 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Squeeze lemon juice into the pan and stir gently.
- Spoon creamy grits into bowls and top with shrimp.
- Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
