- 2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
- 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau, triple sec, or curaçao)
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz pumpkin spice syrup
- 1/2 oz agave syrup or honey
- Ice
- Cinnamon-sugar mix for rimming (2 parts sugar to 1 part ground cinnamon)
- Lime wedge and cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions
- Chill a rocks glass or coupe for 5 minutes. Half-rim with cinnamon-sugar using a lime wedge.
- Fill a cocktail shaker three-quarters full with fresh ice.
- Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, pumpkin spice syrup, and agave/honey to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
- Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail over the ice (double strain if desired).
- Garnish with a lime wedge and cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a tarter profile, reduce agave/honey to 1 teaspoon. Fresh lime juice is essential for brightness. Use quality orange liqueur for best results. Optional: add a pinch of ground ginger to the cinnamon-sugar rim for extra warmth.
