Description

Green Tea Lemon Ginger Chews are homemade healthy candy bites made with antioxidant-rich green tea, fresh lemon juice, and spicy ginger, creating chewy, naturally sweet treats that soothe sore throats and curb sugar cravings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 5 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea
  • 1/3 cup ginger juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Honey to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the cold water into a saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the top, then let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Brew a strong green tea and measure out 1/2 cup.
  3. Add the brewed green tea, ginger juice, and lemon juice to the bloomed gelatin.
  4. Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin fully dissolves without boiling.
  5. Taste and stir in honey if desired.
  6. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a lightly greased dish.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  8. Remove from molds or cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store chews in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within one week for best texture and flavor.
