Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lobster tails, fresh or frozen, thawed and patted dry
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F (200°C) on broil.
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise and gently lift the meat to rest on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, parsley, and lemon juice.
- Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with garlic butter sauce.
- Broil for 6–8 minutes until meat is opaque and reaches 140–145°F internally.
- Remove from oven, rest for 1 minute, and drizzle with remaining garlic butter before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcooking lobster tails, as this will result in tough meat. Always cook just until opaque.
