  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 (12 oz) Irish stout beer
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and coat beef with flour.
  2. Brown the beef on all sides, then transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Add carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
