- Sprinkles
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pink or red gel food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease 12 muffin cups well.
- Cream butter and sugar 3–4 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract; mix until smooth.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and baking soda separately, then mix into dough.
- Press 2 tbsp dough into each muffin cup, pushing up the sides to form walls.
- Bake 12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Press centers with a spoon immediately after baking to deepen the cups; cool completely.
- For frosting: beat cream cheese and butter smooth; add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Add food coloring if desired and pipe frosting into cooled cookie cups.
- Top with sprinkles before frosting sets.
Notes
Do not overbake—edges should be just lightly golden. Always cool cups fully before piping frosting to maintain shape.
