  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 810 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A festive and easy St. Patrick’s Day brownie trifle made with fudgy brownie chunks, creamy green pudding, fluffy Cool Whip, and crunchy Mint Oreos. This no-fuss layered dessert is perfect for parties, holidays, and green-themed celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as directed)
  • 1 (3.5 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • Green food coloring, as needed
  • 1012 Mint Oreo cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the brownies according to the package instructions in an 8×8-inch pan.
  2. Allow brownies to cool completely, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.
  4. Add a few drops of green food coloring and stir until evenly colored.
  5. Crush the Mint Oreos into coarse crumbs.
  6. In a clear trifle bowl, layer half of the brownies, half of the green pudding, and half of the Cool Whip.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining brownies and pudding.
  8. Top with remaining Cool Whip and crushed Mint Oreos.
  9. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours before serving.

Notes

Let brownies cool fully before layering to avoid soggy texture. For a natural green color, use pistachio pudding instead of food coloring.
