- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 medium jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Optional: 1 tbsp melted butter mixed with 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, bacon, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Cut pastry into 2-inch-wide strips.
- Place a spoonful of filling along half of each strip.
- Fold pastry over filling to form a rectangle and press edges lightly to seal.
- Make shallow diagonal cuts along the sealed edge.
- Twist each strip gently into a spiral.
- Arrange on the baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
