- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings; mix gently.
- Shape into 1.5-inch meatballs and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
- Boil potatoes until tender; mash with garlic, butter, milk, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Sauté mushrooms in butter; add flour and cook 1 minute.
- Whisk in broth, soy sauce, and Dijon; simmer until thickened.
- Add meatballs to gravy and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Serve meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes.
