- 2 lobster tails (8–10 oz each, fresh or thawed)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top of each lobster shell lengthwise and lift meat to rest on top.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Brush lobster meat generously with garlic butter mixture, reserving some for serving.
- Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 6–8 minutes.
- Check internal temperature; lobster is done at 140–145°F.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 3 minutes.
- Drizzle with remaining garlic butter and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcooking lobster tails—check temperature early. Properly cooked lobster should be opaque, tender, and slightly springy.
