- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tablespoons sriracha
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2–3 tablespoons chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Optional: steamed broccoli florets or snap peas
Instructions
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey. Chill while preparing turkey.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook 5-7 minutes until browned and reaches 165°F.
- Add garlic, ginger, smoked paprika, and stir for 30 seconds.
- Pour in soy sauce, chicken broth, and honey, simmering 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Sprinkle in cornstarch and stir vigorously to thicken.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of the prepared bang bang sauce.
- Assemble bowls with rice, turkey mixture, vegetables, and drizzle remaining sauce over top.
Notes
Let the bang bang sauce rest while cooking to deepen flavor. Use coconut aminos for lower sodium and adjust sriracha for more or less heat.
