Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (or spicy brown mustard)
1 tbsp lemon juice (plus 1 tsp zest)
1 tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients: Soften butter at room temperature for easy mixing. Mince garlic, chop herbs, and zest/juice the lemon.
Mix Butter & Spices: In a bowl, combine softened butter with garlic, parsley, chives, mustard, lemon juice, zest, and spices.
Whisk & Incorporate: Stir or whisk until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Store or Serve: Use immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
