Description

  • 120g butter, melted and cooled
  • 130g caster sugar
  • 130g soft light brown sugar
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g plain flour
  • 160g Twix bars (about 4 snack-size), chopped
  • 75g milk chocolate chips
  • 75g white chocolate chips
  • 23 tablespoons Carnation caramel (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160℃ (140℃ fan). Line an 8×8-inch baking tin with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter with both sugars until glossy and combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in flour gently until just combined.
  5. Chop Twix bars and fold into batter with both chocolate chips.
  6. Spread batter evenly in prepared tin. Bake 35–40 minutes until edges are golden and center has a slight wobble.
  7. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 3–4 hours to set fudgy texture.
  8. Drizzle with caramel (optional), cut into 16 squares, and serve.

Notes

Do not overbake – blondies should remain slightly soft in the center. Chill for at least 3 hours before cutting for clean squares. Store refrigerated for up to 1 week or freeze for 3 months.
