Best Crock Pot Candy – Chocolate Peanut Clusters Made Simple

  • Total Time: 150 minutes
  • Yield: 60 clusters 1x

Description

A foolproof slow cooker candy recipe that combines chocolate, nuts, and almond bark into irresistible clusters without the need for a candy thermometer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz salted peanuts
  • 16 oz unsalted peanuts
  • 16 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 24 oz white almond bark, chopped
  • 4 oz German sweet chocolate bar, chopped

Instructions

  1. Layer ingredients in a 4-quart crock pot in this order: salted peanuts, unsalted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, almond bark, and German sweet chocolate.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 1.5 hours without stirring or lifting the lid.
  3. After 90 minutes, stir until mixture is smooth and glossy, coating all nuts evenly.
  4. Drop tablespoon-sized clusters onto parchment or wax paper using a spoon or scoop.
  5. Cool at room temperature for 60 minutes until firm and set.

Notes

Do not cook on HIGH or refrigerate immediately, as this can cause chocolate to seize or bloom. Store in airtight containers at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.
