- 6 roasted jalapeños, peeled and seeded
- 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon chili powder or smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Chili flakes, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and roast jalapeños for 15–20 minutes until charred. Peel and seed once cooled.
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add shredded cheddar and mix until creamy.
- Chop roasted jalapeños and stir into the cheese mixture. Add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes until bubbly, or chill for 30 minutes for a cold dip.
- Garnish with chili flakes before serving and enjoy!
Notes
Use gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid irritation. For a milder dip, remove all seeds before mixing. Serve warm with tortilla chips or chilled with veggie sticks.
